The Crimson Cult
The Crimson Cult is an evil religious group devoted to the study of necromancy, and worship of the undead. They are formed mainly of twisted individuals who believe that Undeath is the only way of life, and that achieving this perverse form of immortality is the highest honor that one can receive. AlthoFie the cult is centered around the practise of necromancy, none of the regular members are undead creatures. Furthermore, the Cult is a secretive, hidden away faction that uses this shroud to perform their grotesque celebration and rituals. They do not have any undead armies or power to over throw cities. They are not concerned with overthrowing anyone, but only with continuing their experiments.
Ranks
The Plague-master[0/3]: The leader of the cult. They are masters of necromancy who have turned themselves into Liches, thus transcending the mortal boundaries and earning their place as a leader of the Cult.
Master Necromancers[0/10]: A highly skilled necromancer who had learned all he or she can in the dark arts. There are very few Master Necromancers, and when a Plague-master is slain, Master Necromancers are next in line for leader ship.
Necromancers[0/20]: A standard member of the cult, seen as moderately skilled in the dark arts. They form the bulk of the ranks.
Initiates[Unlimited]: A new necromancer with little to no experience in the dark arts. They are trained in the use of necromancy by higher ranks, until deemed worthy of being Necromancers.
Rituals
The Crimson Cult have a number of recruits often gather at dark caves of gloomy hideouts to conduct these ceremonies in the name of the dark ways. They include:
-Blood drinking
-The sacrifice of children and animals
-Cannibalistic infanticide
-The rape and murder of virgin women
Headquarters:
The cult is present all across the known world, with secret lairs in several major cites. They kidnap innocents, sacrificing them in the name of undeath, or simply use them in order to practice gruesome necromancy experiments.
